ABOUT EARLY EXPOSURE PRODUCTIONS
The mission of Early Exposure Productions is to bring emerging media technologies to rural young people through customized projects that address a current need in their community.

Caleb Crosby is an award winning filmmaker who will serve as the project’s Creative Director and cinematographer. Caleb’s work plays on the silver screen, national television and in commercial advertising. Elected into the Society of Operating Cameramen, SOC in Hollywood in 2000, Caleb is recognized in the top tier of motion picture professionals. Caleb has worked with service learning on the college level at UNO in New Orleans where he led 40 students in the making of a 45-minute featurette 16mm film that screened at the New Orleans Film Festival. Caleb served as Senior Cameraman and Producer at MPBN where he worked with Maine students of all ages. Find clips of Caleb’s work at www.calebcrosby.com.

Ruth MacVane serves as the Education Coordinator and Producer of Time for Belfast. Formerly a state of Maine teacher, learning strategist and Assistant Director of the Children’s Museum of Maine, Ruth has worked with students from kindergarten through high school. Her past projects include three Service Learning Projects: A Library For West School, a film which raised over $12,000 for the school, A Cultural Journey Through Portland, which culminated in a festival that attracted people from 69 different countries and a gardening initiative featured on MPBN radio in which island children planted gardens on two Casco Bay islands.
